(e.g. needs several tries to do the job on v4.1, and is limited to 64KiB only...) The filesystem repair tool was fixed as well, but it does only support the v4.1 cartridge, so the old tool for older cards is still included, until I'll add support older cards as well. Although there are still some work need to be done before it will be finished, we would like to present one of the major improvement which is increased &lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://news.ide64.org/ide64_v4_sp.gif"&gt;performance.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The IDE64 V4 is faster by 16% than IDE64 V3.x and even 37% faster than RamLink while loading the same amount of data.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255); font-weight: bold;"&gt;We would like to thanks to all C64 users (who asked us about IDE64 availability) for the patience. Reading speed reaches up to 40 kB/s (writing at 20 kB/s), which makes burning CDs for huge data transfers pointless.
